Gorsebank Camping Village Booking Terms & Conditions
1)A payment of £50 (or if lower) the price of your stay must be forwarded to confirm your booking any outstanding balances being due 6 weeks before commencement of holiday. If holiday is booked within 6 weeks of departure, full payment must be paid upon booking. In the event of non-payment of this balance, we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and no refund will be given.
2) If you are forced to cancel, please telephone immediately and confirm in writing within 4 days. We reserve the right to keep any monies paid as a cancellation fee. Should we re-let the property, we shall be happy to offer you an alternative date for your holiday.
3) If the property is not re-let you will be held liable to pay the full balance due on the property you have booked. You are advised to take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance to cover this eventually.
4) In the event of exceptional circumstances a cancellation occurs by us, our liability shall be limited to the return in full the monies paid.
5) Only the families/persons quoted when booking are allowed to stay at the property. No third parties are allowed to stay at the property and holidays booked are not transferable. The person named as party lead on the booking form is responsible for the group and liable for any damage caused and/or monies outstanding.
6) The owner is not liable to the guest, or members of the guest's party for the loss or damage to any belongings of any of them.
7) As owners we shall not be responsible for the death or personal injury to a holidaymaker or loss, damage or accident to personal property.
8) In the event of misbehaviour or other necessary causes the Owner reserves the right to terminate the let without any refund of monies.
9) A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed per property, dog stays must be booked. Please bring a dog basket and do not allow dogs to climb on beds.
Dogs must be kept under proper control so that they do not affect other guests. Dogs must not be left alone in the property and must not be allowed to foul the area.
10) The owner or their representatives shall be allowed access at any reasonable time during occupancy for the purpose of emergency maintenance or repair or any other need.
11) Guests are responsible for the condition of the property and the furniture and fitting therein. Whilst accepting that the property is cleaned between 'lets' the guest shall leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found.
12) We ask that any breakages or faulty equipment be reported so that we may replace them. In the case of breakages, a replacement charge will be made.
All services are subject to availability we are not liable should outages occur beyond our control. Camp fires and BBQ's may not be permitted during exceptional dry spells.
13) Where you have special needs, such as booking activities please specify upon booking and we shall endeavour to do our up most to fulfil your requirements. Our aim is to make your stay a happy and memorable one. If there is anything we can do to make your holiday more relaxed or enjoyable please let us know.
14) It should be noted that there is a large pond near the properties and various small lakes around the farm. It is important that young children are supervised at all times.
15) We operate a strictly no smoking policy inside the properties, toilets and kitchen area. A charge of £200 to defumigate areas will be made if guests smoke.
16) Visiting horses must be accompanied with their equine passports, and must be inoculated for equine flu and tetanus.   You are liable for any damage caused by animals.

18) Privacy: We will never pass your details to a third party unless required to do so by law.   We will however send you information updates on events at Gorsebank.   If you do not wish to receive these please advise us.
19) Security Bonds - These are held on certain group bookings against damage and unsuitable behaviour.  Security bonds are payable with the balance of your stay 6 weeks prior to arrival.  We will confirm in writing to you when a bond has been repaid or retained and the reasons for this.
